I was in a couple months ago. However, mostly as a depth signing to take some time from Greene. Not so much to replace Leddy.

Yeah it was mentioned but now there seems to be a bit more validity now. I agree as a 6/7 I am all for it but if the thought is our blue line is all good with him being signed I’m not.

I don't know, we were pretty ok after losing Toews. Actually improved in terms of overall defensive game.

Agreed on Toew’s.
I think Dobson needs to step up and they will give him some time to see if he does. I think with the team defense and team dynamic that Barry has this team playing and buying into, one player isn’t going to kill that imho.

From a Dev's fans perspective, this is a good signing. Palms led the Dev's in hits the past 2 seasons, and was the best goal scorer on top of that. He was a leader on and off the ice and every coach loved how low maintenance he was. Not surprised Trotz and Lou wanted him to stay. Expect another 25+ goal season with a solid 200' game.
